GlycoNex and Nippon Kayaku Enter Co-Development Agreement for GNX201-ADC

The agreement pairs GlycoNex's anti-glycan antibody discovery with Nippon Kayaku's clinical development expertise to advance a next-generation pro-antibody ADC.

NEW TAIPEI CITY, Taiwan — March 23, 2026 — GlycoNex, Inc. (TWO:4168) today announced that it has entered a co-development agreement with Nippon Kayaku Co., Ltd. of Japan for GNX201-ADC, a next-generation pro-antibody antibody-drug conjugate.

Under the agreement, GlycoNex leads antibody discovery and preclinical ADC development, while Nippon Kayaku contributes clinical trial strategy and operational expertise. GlycoNex's contribution to the partnership rests on more than two decades of antibody drug development experience and its proprietary anti-glycan antibody library — capabilities aligned with one of the most actively developed therapeutic modalities in oncology today.

GNX201-ADC targets a tumor-associated carbohydrate antigen and combines GlycoNex's proprietary anti-glycan antibody with antibody lock technology in-licensed from Precisemab in May 2024. The antibody remains masked during systemic circulation and is selectively activated by elevated protease activity in the tumor microenvironment, expanding the therapeutic window for ADC therapy in solid tumors. The program is in Lead Optimization, with an IND submission targeted for 2028.
